Our Charges

We recognise that care is traditionally divided into personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene, assisting with eating etc) and domestic services (washing clothes, making beds, cleaning, shopping, etc).
But because some people’s needs fall somewhere between the two, we keep to a single charge rate for all of our standard services. Whatever your needs, we will ensure that the right individual with the proper training and skills is sent to you.

This means that we can react flexibly when your needs change, whether temporarily or permanently, and that all of our care staff are capable of offering whatever help is requested on each occasion.
It is also a good deal easier to have a clear, straightforward charge, which means that your invoices are simple to understand.

Notes:

1. Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve from 6pm and New Years Day will be charged at 100% of the stated daily rates
2. A sleep-in night duty is charged at 80% of the normal night duty, but reverts to normal rate if disturbed more than twice per shift.
3. A Fee will be charged where staff introduced by Care4 are employed directly, although this will be waived under certain conditions. Please see your Contract for full details or call for advice.
4. Where Care4 staff use their own car on a client’s behalf or for escort duties, a charge of 40p per mile applies in addition to the hourly charge. (i.e. shopping, Hospital/Doctor’s visits, etc)
5. Discounts are available for calls which total more than twenty hours per week - please ask for details.

These charges include VAT where applicable. Travel to and from clients is not chargeable.
